The short version
Withdrawals: getting money out without a support ticket
Deposits are instant by design and withdrawals are careful by design. That asymmetry annoys everyone, but it is not arbitrary: payouts sit inside anti-money-laundering rules, fraud controls and chargeback exposure that deposits do not. The upside is that almost every delay has a named, fixable cause, and four of the five are things you can settle in advance.
Do these before you ever click withdraw: finish identity verification, make sure the receiving account is in your own name and matches your profile exactly, close out or knowingly forfeit any active bonus, and use a method that can receive money. That is the whole game.
What happens after you press the button
-
The request is queued
Nothing has left yet. On most platforms the request sits in a pending state where you can still cancel it — and where an unwary player cancels it accidentally and plays the money back. If you meant to withdraw, walk away from the lobby.
-
Compliance checks run
Documents, account age, deposit and play history are reviewed. A first withdrawal is always the slowest because this is where the checks happen for the first time.
-
The payout is approved and sent
Funds are released to your chosen method. From this moment the timing belongs to the payment rail — your bank, or the blockchain — not the casino.
-
The money lands
Bank rails settle within business hours; weekends and public holidays add time that no support agent can remove.
We publish no processing times for this brand. Anything we quoted would be invented. The cashier and the pending-withdrawal screen in your own account show the current status, and that is the only figure worth acting on.
The five real reasons a payout stalls
Verification not finished
By far the most common. Documents must be current, fully in frame, uncropped and legible — a corner cut off or a flash reflection is enough to bounce a submission. Do this at signup, not at cashout.
Name mismatch
The casino account, the identity documents and the receiving bank account must all show the same legal name. Nicknames, missing middle names and a maiden name on one document are the usual culprits.
An active bonus
Requesting a payout with wagering outstanding usually forfeits the bonus and its winnings, and sometimes blocks the request outright. Decide deliberately — see the promotions page.
A method that cannot receive
Vouchers and some prepaid instruments fund only. If that is how you deposited, you must add and verify a second method before the money can move.
Source-of-funds review
Larger or unusual amounts can trigger an additional check. Answering it fully the first time — payslip, statement, whatever is asked — is faster than negotiating about whether it is necessary.
Duplicate accounts
Two accounts under one person or one household is a standard terms breach and a standard reason funds are frozen. Disclose it before you withdraw, not after.
Documents: get them right once
| Document | What it proves | Why submissions get rejected |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID (passport or licence) | Identity and age | Expired, edges cropped, glare over the number |
| Proof of address | Where you live | Older than the accepted window, or a different address than the profile |
| Bank statement or screenshot | The receiving account is yours | Account name hidden, or numbers blacked out that need to be visible |
| Selfie with ID, if requested | The person matches the document | Blurred, poor light, document unreadable in the shot |
Photograph documents flat, in daylight, with all four corners visible, and send the file uncompressed if the upload allows it. Redact only what the operator explicitly says you may.
Reverse withdrawals, and why they cost people money
The pending window exists for the operator's compliance checks, but it has a side effect that costs players more than any fee ever will: while a request is pending, the money is usually still in the account and still playable. Cancelling a withdrawal takes one click, and plenty of players who intended to bank a win end up playing it back over the following days.
Treat the pending period as a decision you already made. Practical ways to hold yourself to it:
- Log out after requesting the payout, and do not open the lobby "just to look".
- Where the operator offers a reverse-withdrawal lock or an instant-payout option that skips the pending stage, use it.
- Withdraw the whole balance rather than a round number, so there is nothing left to play with while you wait.
- Set a deposit limit at the same moment — it costs nothing and it removes the obvious follow-up move.
None of that is moralising: it is the single most effective habit separating players who actually receive money from a casino account and players who technically won and never saw it.
Splitting, limits and record-keeping
Operators commonly cap how much can be withdrawn in a single request or in a given period, and a larger balance may therefore be paid in instalments. That is a policy, not a delay tactic, and it is written in the terms you accepted at signup — worth reading before a large win rather than after one. If a cap applies, each instalment normally goes through the same approval routine, so the first one is the slow one and the rest follow more quickly.
Keep your own record independently of the account history: the date and amount of each request, the method, the reference number, and the date it landed. It takes seconds and it turns any future dispute from a memory exercise into a document. If you ever need to escalate to the operator's complaints procedure or an external dispute body — see the licensing page for how those work — that record is exactly what they will ask for.
One method, both directions, one name. Almost every withdrawal problem described on this page traces back to a mismatch between how money went in, how it is coming out, and whose name is on each end. Settle that at signup and the rest is waiting.
Chasing a slow withdrawal
Give the stated window a chance to pass before escalating, then contact support once with everything they need: the account email, the withdrawal reference, the amount and date requested, the method chosen, and confirmation that verification is complete. Keep it in one thread. Opening a second ticket restarts the queue rather than accelerating it, and posting the same question in live chat and by email simultaneously usually produces two half-answers.
If the operator's own process is exhausted and the answer is still unsatisfactory, licensed operators publish a complaints route and an external dispute body in their terms. Our licensing page explains how to find and use it.
Can I cancel a pending withdrawal?
Usually yes, while it is still pending — which is exactly the trap. If you have decided to cash out, close the lobby rather than sitting in it.
Do I have to withdraw to the method I deposited with?
Often, at least for the amount you deposited. It is a standard anti-money-laundering rule rather than an obstruction.
Why was I asked for documents again?
Re-verification can be triggered by an address change, a new payment method, a long dormant period or a larger-than-usual amount. It is routine.
